The GMB 1961 Pension Fund

The GMB 1961 Pension Fund (the Fund) offers benefits which are designed to provide you with a secure income (in the form of a monthly pension or a tax-free cash sum and a reduced pension) in retirement and your dependants with benefits in the event of your death before or after retirement. It is a legal requirement that the Trustee makes its Statement of Investment Principles and Implementation Statement available to the general public. This site has been set up to facilitate access to this document and the Trustee has also taken this an opportunity to move the Fund’s Privacy Notice (the link for which is at the foot of this page).

The Trustee has set out its investment strategy, including the investment objectives and investment policies they adopt in their Statement of Investment Principles (“SIP”). The Trustees have also set out in their Implementation Statement how the principles, objectives and policies in the SIP have been carried out.
